Updates on player funds - PS and FullTilt

Looks like those who have bank rolls on Pokerstars or FullTilt will be getting it all back.

From one of our listeners/readers regarding Pokerstars - received earlier this week:

...I received a notice from PokerStars upon logging into my account tonight that cashouts were now available for all U.S. players. Then it went on to say that due to the high volume that they are expected to get the funds could take longer then the usual time.

So after reading all that I clicked on the Cashier button and immediately popped up a message saying: Due to U.S. Government regulations you are required to cash out the entire amount in your PokerStars account. When I clicked the ok button it put me right into the cash withdrawal option screen with my full bankroll preselected. So much for leaving a little on there "just in case"...

Then this came from FullTilt yesterday:

Clicking the link has Full Tilt telling us that there will be an additional update the week of May 2.  Also, all Tourney tickets, etc will be cashed out at value and put into a player's balance.

Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.

I tried to go to the full tilt store and spend my FTP points, and it said that the store was not available in my region. Uh. I wonder why I cant spent fake money in there store? I hope that they do the fantasy poker again, that was fun, but I guess it will not be available to US players because they give entries to poker tourneys with cash winnings.

Good point on the Fantasy Poker - it probably will not be available to us. At least not in its old form - that sucks!!
