MN's Jeremy Dresch goes deep in WSOP Event #8
MN's own Jeremy Dresch who has been burning up the poker tournaments here at home has taken that hot streak out to Vegas and the World Series of Poker (WSOP).
Dresch; who won back-to-back Heartland Poker Tour (HPT) events last October and November, won a Minnesota State Poker Tour Bracelet at Mille Lacs in February and took 12th at last months Minnesota State Poker Championship went deep in Event #8 of this year's WSOP - a $1500 No-Limit Hold 'em event.
Dresch finished 56th in a field of 2341 to record a cash of $7648. The field is currently set for the final day of play with 25 remaining players. The biggest name remaining has to be Phil Hellmuth.

$7648 is a nice prize. Huge congratulations to Jeremy. When poker is lucrative, it's very lucrative. I hope his winning streak continues.

I know the guy, I've watched him play so it's not a surprise for me that he deserves all the glory. Poker is not just about luck and people like Dresch and Phil can confirm it. I sometimes go wild myself in poker tournaments but I haven't managed to build a name on that yet.
